Our company recently won the bid for the intelligent transformation project of a large port in Southeast Asia, providing over 2000 sets of customized wheel hubs. These wheels will be used for port cranes, helping the port achieve unmanned and efficient operation, further demonstrating the international competitiveness of domestically produced crane wheels.
The core of this port project lies in intelligent modernization. The wheels must be suitable for automatic guided vehicles (AGVs) with circular tracks and gantry crane bogies, and meet three key requirements: high positioning accuracy, long service life, and easy maintenance. To meet the project requirements, our engineering team spent three months conducting specialized research and development, and developed a customized comprehensive solution: combining wheel pivot components with high wear resistant wheels. The pivot wheel is equipped with a vertical pivot mechanism, which can move flexibly on a circular track, overcoming the shortcomings of traditional wheels. The high wear resistant wheels adopt optimized wheel rim geometry and laser spray coating, with a 25% increase in wear resistance, enabling them to operate stably in busy and high load port environments.
During the delivery process, thanks to environmentally friendly manufacturing technology and automated production lines, we completed the production of all products in just 45 days, reducing the industry average delivery time by 25%. In addition, our technical team is stationed at the customer's site throughout the entire process, providing comprehensive installation, debugging, and personnel training services, which has won high praise from our partners.
The intelligent modernization of Southeast Asian ports is an important export opportunity. We are exploring overseas markets through customized solutions and localized services, "said the company's Director of External Economic Activities. At present, the company's products have been exported to more than 20 countries and regions in Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa, and other parts of the world. It is expected that by the end of 2025, exports will account for 21% of total sales, an increase of 3 percentage points from the previous year. Looking ahead, the company plans to expand its overseas market business, increase research and development investment, adapt its products to different regional operating environments, and promote domestic crane wheels to the high-end international market.
